OBOR: Oikonomia Borneo (E-ISSN 2685-3000) is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda, Indonesia. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for disseminating research findings, conceptual studies, and scientific discussions in the fields of economics, management, accounting, finance, taxation, and related business disciplines.

OBOR: Oikonomia Borneo is committed to promoting the development of knowledge and professional practices in economics and business, particularly in the context of Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region. The journal welcomes manuscripts that provide theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practical contributions to the advancement of economics and business studies.

The journal publishes research articles that employ quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and other appropriate research approaches. Manuscripts may address contemporary issues in business and economics.

OBOR: Oikonomia Borneo is published twice a year, in April and October. The journal accepts manuscripts throughout the year, subject to the editorial schedule and peer-review process. The journal currently publishes articles electronically through its Open Journal System (OJS).

Article Types

The journal primarily publishes:

  1. Original research articles;

  2. Conceptual and theoretical articles;

  3. Empirical studies; and

  4. Other scholarly manuscripts relevant to the journal's focus and scope.
