The journal is published as a medium for communicating and disseminating empirical research results in the fields of Management, Accounting and Sharia Banking which can contribute to the development of practice and enrich the literature on Management, Accounting and Sharia Banking.

    publish twice a year in June and December. This journal receives scientific writing as a research report (Original article research paper). The accepted articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. The language used in this journal is Bahasa Indonesia or English.

Topics include accounting and financial reporting, corporate finance, financial markets, management, human resources, marketing, entrepreneurship and MSMEs, taxation, Sharia economics and finance, sustainability and ESG, digital transformation, financial technology (fintech), and emerging technologies in business. The journal accepts empirical, theoretical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary studies addressing contemporary issues in economics.

    Starting with Volume 08, OBOR: Oikonomia Borneo publishes in both Indonesian and English. OBOR: Oikonomia Borneo is committed to publishing high-quality scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of economics and business knowledge while offering relevant insights for both academic and professional practice, particularly within the contexts of Indonesia, Asia, and the global community.

    The journal is published biannually—in April and October—and accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis, subject to editorial and peer-review processes.
